The Electric Chair

Truthfulness in Confession

A wealthy woman hired an author to write her biography. The author discovered that one of her grandfathers had died in the electric chair. The woman wanted that information written in such a way that it would not be obvious in her family’s history. So the writer described the grandfather in this way, “Her grandfather occupied the chair of electricity in one of America’s most noted institutions. He was very much attached to his position and literally died in the harness.”

When we confess our sins we will not be healed unless we are honest with the Lord.
